I like it. Cost of living isn't like it used to be in the good old days where one parent can work and still have a house, a car, and a couple of kids with a cool dog. We work hard, but the money we earn gets taxed. Then we buy **** with our taxed money just so our taxed earnings can get taxed again. Then pay a property tax on a property we already own. Doesn't leave much to save for other important things...like mortgage, car payments, etc...
Anyway, the bad news is that it would never go through. Yes, the Republicans own pretty much all of congress. The power, most of it, is in the hands of the repubs. However, over the years, the Repubs have come to love taxes more than Americans to the same degree as the dimocrats. What repubs say about taxing Americans vs what they vote on doesn't match.
Anyway, it's a good idea, but I can't see it passing through.
Womens Lib ended up being a very UNLIBERATING SOCIAL TREND for most families/
It effectively put twice as much money into circulation which created a vicious cycle.
By the time a time clock punching mother had to earn enough to buy a car, keep it running, pay for day care and vome home too exhausted to be as good a mother as she could be...what was left ...?
Meanwhile we have had generations of kids raised in institutional day care by nostril ringed HS Drop Outs who could not care less about their minimum wage jobs.
Did I ever mention that WL was masterminded and promoted by the [[[JWO]]]...?
